Jeffrey Koster earned an undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of South Florida. He received his J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Koster served as an associate editor for the University of Dayton Law Review.
After graduating from law school in 1998, Mr. Koster went to work for a large law firm in Chicago, Illinois, where he honed his courtroom skills in complex and high stakes civil litigation. He then returned to his home in Tampa and went to work for a statewide firm. Growing frustrated with the impersonal atmosphere of large law firms, he founded Jeffrey S. Koster, P.L., to provide the level of personal service that he felt his clients deserved.
Mr. Koster's career began in personal injury law. Over the years, former clients began calling and referring others for family law matters. They sought the same compassionate counsel and aggressive representation he provided as he brought their injury claims to conclusion.
As a result, his practice has gradually expanded to include all areas of divorce and family law. Mr. Koster's caring, family-oriented style of practice is comforting to his clients as they navigate what is perhaps the most difficult time in their lives.
Mr. Koster is an active member of the Florida Bar, the Hillsborough County Bar Association and the Florida Justice Association. He resides in Lutz, Florida, with his wife and three children.
